Aluminium Alloy conductor XLPE power cable

Introduction:

The 0.6/1.0kV Aluminium Alloy power cables are usually insulated with XLPE and sheathed with PVC or PE. In consideration of the installation environment, the cables could be armored and with Fire retardant properties. The XLPE-insulated power cable has several advantages over paper-insulated and PVC-insulated cables. It has a higher long-term working temperature and more excellent current rating, at the same environment XLPE cable may be reduced in size (nominal cross-section) 1 or 2 class in comparison with paper and PVC cable. It not only improves the quality and properties of products but also reduces cable production costs.

XLPE cable has high electric strength, mechanical strength, high-aging resistance, environmental stress resisting antichemical corrosion, and it is a simple construction, using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature. It can be laid with no drop restriction.

 

Application:

The Aluminium Alloy power cable is designed to be used for power transmission in 0.6/1.0kV power networks, industrial installations, in buildings and power stations. According to the different materials applied in the construction of the power cables, the power cables could be installed in different areas such as in the ground or in concrete, in the cable trenches or cable ducts, indoor or outdoor areas, in dry or wet locations.

1.    Conductor – Plain annealed class 2 stranded (compacted) Copper / Aluminium / Aluminium Alloy
2.    Insulation – Polyvinyl chloride compound (PVC) / Cross-linked polyethylene compound (XLPE) 
3.    Filler – Non-hygroscopic material(PP)
4.    Binder tape – Non-hygroscopic material tape

5.    Armor: Unarmored / Steel tape armor(STA) / Steel wire armor(SWA) / Al wire armor(AWA)
6.    Outer sheath – Polyvinyl chloride compound (PVC) / Polyethylene compound (XLPE) / LSZH-FR

Installation:

This cable can be installed in a duct, tray, or direct burial.

The installation temperature: PVC cable: ≥ 20℃,  XLPE cable: ≥ 0℃. If the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, the cable should be preheated.

The bending radius of the cable should not be less than 8 times of the cable diameter.

After installation, the cable should withstand a voltage test for 15min. 3.5kv D.C.

The installation of the cable shall follow instruction brochure of the project, or any equivalent, so that the safeguarding of persons and the integrity of the product will not be affected by deficiencies in the installation.

 

Fire Performance:

The Flame-Retardant cable are manufactured according to IEC 60332-3 standard. It covers low-smoke low-halogen(LSLH), Low-Smoke Halogen-Free(LSZH/LSHF/LSOH), and three classes A, B, and C.

Packing & Shipping:

We are capable of meeting the strict delivery schedules according to customers’ orders. Meeting the deadline is always the top priority as any delay may result in overall project delay and cost overrun.

The packing of cables could be wooden reels, corrugated boxes, and coils.

Cable ends are sealed with BOPP self-adhesive tape and non-hygroscopic sealing caps to protect the cable ends from moisture.

The required marking shall be printed with a weather-proof material on the outsides of the drum according to the customer’s requirement.

Currently we accept USD and CNY as settlement currency by Tele-Transfer(T/T). 30% amount of order value Paid against signing of the contract or confirmation of the order. The balance before delivery/picking up the goods or L/C at sight.

We will update the production progress news to customer by email or online communication tools under weekly basis. 3 days before production complete an notification will be sent.

Q: Can I get ODM/OEM service in your company.

A: ODM/OEM service are available here. If you want your company details showing on the product or packing, just inform us your demands.

Q: What warranties do your products carry?

A: We guarantee that all of our wires & cables, are new and free from defects. We will take back any product that does not meet the agreed quality by both parties.

We guarantee that we will comply with the requirements of the warranty period specified in the contract.

We will manufacture under the agreed specification, the Goods will be new, unused, of the most recent or current models and will supply the Goods strictly according to the Contract’s requirements.

The warranty will remain valid for twelve (12) months after the Goods have been delivered to and accepted at the final destination, or for eighteen (18) months after the date of shipment from the port or place of loading in the country of origin, whichever period concludes earlier.

During the warranty period, purchaser may proclaim directly to the us in written form or by the agent if there is any problem with the Good’s quality. We will do the repair or replacement in a reasonable time and will bear all the expenses relating to this.
